A planned 3 day Ride to Dumfries and Galloway.
Trevor Cooper is organising a 3 day ride to Dumfries and Galloway with a two night stay at a Best Western hotel. A provisional block booking has been made at The Sure Hotel, Lockerbie with the single room costing £140, twins for 1 person at £160, for 2 nights. We are planning to eat in the hotel on both evenings, dining at 7.30pm. Breakfast and dinner sadly not included in the price.
Route Plan.
- Day 1. Up through Barnard Castle, Teesdale to Alston and Langholm for a two night stay at The Sure Hotel in Lockerbie.
- Day 2. A day around Galloway Forest Park, including parts of the South West 300.
- Day 3. Final day back down through Brampton, Appleby and Hawes to Harrogate.
