North York Moors- Rosedale Abbey

David Haywood is all geared up to lead September’s first Wednesday of the month’s ride to Rosedale Abbey.

Meet at Morrison’s car park in Boroughbridge 9.15am for 9.30am set off with full fuel tanks. The first section of the route goes through Rainton and Busby Stoop before break time stopping in Thirsk Market Square for refreshments at one of the cafes. YO7 1TF

After leaving Thirsk on to Felixkirk-Peak Scar-B1257 north-Chop Gate-Kildare-Castleton-Rosedale Abbey for the lunch stop.

Lunch: Abbey Stores and Tearoom or Graze on the Green Cafe. YO18 8SA

After Lunch off to Rosedale Chimney-Hutton-le-Hole-Lund-Bransdale-Helmsley-Harome-Nunnington-Hovingham-Husthwaite-Asenby-Cundall and finishing at Morrisons in Boroughbridge.

In total 125 miles.

Usual rules with IAM guidelines of course-Six Riders-social distancing rules apply-masks in shops-use hand sanitiser-even bring your own food- use your common sense and but above all enjoy your day.
