HAB Weekday Ride Out – Wednesday 9th March

The ride next week will start at Ripley car park (the usual one to the south of the village close to the Knaresborough roundabout). Meet 9.45 for a 10.00 am start.

The route heads north west from Ripley on country roads, through Kirkby Malzeard and on to Masham for coffee.

From Masham, heading north east to Bedale, Northallerton then skirting the NYM national park to Great Broughton for lunch at the Bay Horse. (This is the pub restaurant we originally chose for the Christmas lunch but couldn’t get in – we can suss it out for next Christmas!).

The return journey follows the B1257 through Helmsley then turning west through Ampleforth, Byland Abbey, Coxwold, Boroughbridge and back to Ripley.

Total length Ripley to Ripley is slightly over 100 miles.

Weather forecast at the moment for middle of next week doesn’t look too bad . . . hope to see you there!
